ART PARTY FOOD TABLE IDEAS

Reading time: 2 Minutes

The food table for our art table seemed to be a hit…judged only by the facts I had a lot of food on the table and it disappeared for the most part by the end of the party. To me, this is success.

I made cookies in the shape of palettes by bending a jellybean cookie cutter into a palette shape and making my favorite butter cookie recipe. I topped the cookies with a confectioner’s sugar and milk combination – dying a few smaller icing sections with food dye and piping it atop the cookies

I doodled some picture frames, then cut them into pieces the size of water bottle labels, and affixed them with packing tape. In front of them I put a small paint tin with paper straws in front of the bottles.

I also made some of these Rice Krispie Treat paint brushes because they were too cute (and easy!) not to do.

Little signs designed to look like canvases sat upon easels cut from my Silhouette Cameo. The cupcakes were vanilla with butter cream frosting and decorated with colorful M&Ms!

I lined a gallon paint can (new, unused) with a plastic baggie and filled it with Froot Loops. I also had cones (decorated to resemble the collage activity station) filled with Trix.

We had so much fun! Check out our activity stations, photo backdrops, and favors too!
