This weekend we hosted a carnival party for our oldest son. One of our booths was a sunglasses craft station, where kids could personalize their own sunglasses. Here’s how we pulled off this easy and inexpensive craft:
Using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut kids’ initials, dots, and hearts from permanent vinyl. For this project, I cut all of the pieces at 1/2 inch or less.
I used the Pick-Me-Up tool to help weed the tiny insides of the letters.
Then, I laid transfer tape over the shapes and cut around them. This way, the shapes were ready to go and transfer when the kids when to apply the shapes to their glasses!
We peeled off the backing, and used the transfer tape to place it where we wanted it.
And here’s the result – super cute, right?
Such a cute idea! And I need that pick-me-up tool!
