My husband and I have a March Madness bet to see who can earn the most points on our individual brackets. Winner gets a massage – and the competition for this prize is cutthroat! After the first round, I am in the lead with 300 points and I have ALL of my Final 4 teams left. Poor Hubs has 280 points and only 2 Final Four teams remaining. I’m hoping to gain some more ground on him in the next round.

How’d I make my picks? With no thought or background knowledge on the teams at all. I had Hubs read me the match ups without letting me know the teams’ seeds, and I chose which team I thought would win. Looking back I am really sorry that I didn’t follow my gut and choose Mercer over Duke. As a Maryland fan I have always found every way possible to NOT root for our rival Duke (though my beloved Terps didn’t even MAKE the tourney, so who am I to talk).

While we’ve been using a combination of laptops, tablets, and smartphones to catch all of the action, our tablets have been our go-to devices to check in on scores and track our brackets. We love the portability of these devices, as they are easy to use while laying in bed, watching TV, or even outside as we watch the kids play. Have you been to Best Buy to check out the variety of devices they sell to keep you up to date on the March Madness action? Best Buy can help keep you connected to the excitement with the devices and connectivity that make it possible.

There is a box of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies on the line in this house. I chose my bracket with an eenie-meenie-miney-mo approach but that doesn’t seem to be paying off for me :/

When I was looking at tablets recently, I headed to Best Buy to see them. The guy in the tablet section was so helpful. I’m headed back soon to decide between a Kindle reader and Kindle Fire.

Sounds like fun! I’ve never followed college basketball but my boys sure do enjoy it! Best Buy always has great customer service. We got my daughter’s iPod Touch there and they went out of their way to find the one she wanted at another location.

Not a good year for me. Duke and Ohio State totally blew my brackets. Wonder if I could get a world’s worst bracket picks?

We always get our electronics from Best Buy. We had to buy a new laptop(again), and they always make it easy. And the Rewards Program rocks, too!

My poor husband picked DUKE to win! Lost in the first round. He actually needs a new tablet though; maybe a little Best Buy shopping will cheer him up.

I never do a bracket but I had my stat students calculate the chances of guessing a perfect bracket. It was a fun project!
