This year for the first time, we will be prepping a Christmas Eve box for the boys. In the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it seems like we spend lots of time together, but not lots of time just hanging out together. We are going to start the holidays early this year with a box of fun that will keep us happy, laughing, full, entertained, and warm.
What surprises will the kids find in our box?
My boys all love Wild Kratts, so this year we will all watch Wild Kratts Creature Christmas together! I previewed this movie earlier this month, and it is a great one (and for $3.99 on Amazon, how can you beat that price?!) With baby animals being made into ornaments, the Wild Kratts need to help save Christmas!
Last year, my middle received a Snackeez from a friend for his birthday. Well, since then, every movie night the Snackeez is the coveted item in the house and middle always gets first dibs. Well, after searching high and low, I located more Snackeez – one for each kid. I mean who doesn’t want a cup of food inside their drink!?!!
Some popcorn and other fun snacks will also be in the package!
Every Christmas the kids get new pajamas, this year, they are getting some fresh ones from Old Navy.
My favorite special pick for the box are these hooded Santa robes. The boys are going to FREAK OUT! How cozy will these be for cold winter mornings?
We are always encouraging reading, and we know the wait to go see if Santa visited can seem epically long, so each boy is getting a book to help pass the time! Chicken Cheeks is all about rear ends, Big Nate is the only series that my kid wants to stay up to read, and Mo Willems’ Elephant and Piggie series is a favorite.
What items would you put in a Christmas Eve Box?
