Superheroes have a special place in our home. Behind their mask, my boys can show strength, bravery, wit, and smarts…but are those traits just for boys? Of course not. But until recently, the superhero role models have been lacking quite a bit in gender diversity.

If your kids are looking for action-packed girl power, look no further than DC Super Hero Girls. DC Entertainment’s latest animated series features a dynamic group of Super Heros on their journey of discovering the power of their unique abilities and friendships. What I love is how dynamic the characters are, from strong and fearless to edgy and fun; there is a character for everyone.

The DC Super Hero Girls YouTube channel makes it easy for our kids to watch their favorite characters, on-demand, and from any device.

For even more fun there is an extended online experience on the website where your kids can play games, download free printable activities, and more.

I love this channel! My girls love acting like super heroes, and my middle daughter was Bat Girl for her birthday last year. Can’t wait to show them!
