I am sitting here burning the midnight oil writing a conference proposal that is due tomorrow because we must.get.back.to.Disney ASAP. Last year we decided to take our three boys on a last minute trip to Disney World because one of our favorite former students, a Disney cast member, suggested we make a visit.
My husband was a little tentative. Worried about the over commercialization of Disney. Worried about the crowds.
However, let me tell you that it is HE who upon leaving the grounds asked, “When can we go back again?” Disney is magical, whether we are 1 or 100, and when I heard the news that Netflix has all of the 2015-2016 theatrical releases coming exclusively to Netflix, I might have done a little lap around the house.
Starting September 20, I can have a taste of Disney on Netflix every day right inside my home.
I hear from fellow boy moms that they are overwhelmed with all of the Disney princesses, but I have three boys who all refuse to watch anything remotely princess-y – and Disney movies are our favorites! for instance, since seeing Zootopia last year, sloths are my middle son’s obsession. He wants to know everything about sloths, and watch more sloth movies, and visit real sloths at the zoo/aquarium. All.sloths. All.the.time.
