When I built the LEGO table for Buddy, I knew I needed to make something for Little Guy, too, or there would be a daily battle in the playroom when Little Guy goes all “Godzilla” on Buddy’s creations.
If you follow this blog, you know I am a bit of a Pinterest addict (If you aren’t following me yet, feel free to follow me HERE. If you leave your Pinterest URL in the comments on this post, I’ll follow back…I am always looking for new boards to follow!). I had seen this awesome LEGO Duplo Table by Jill at Meet the Dubiens on Pinterest and I knew I needed to create something similar.
Following her advice, I picked up an IKEA Lack Table and a LEGO Duplo Green Building Plate (15″ X 15″) and glued the base plate to the table with some Gorilla Glue. I then used a paint marker to draw a road around the outside of the building plate. If you have a Silhouette Cameo
, you could use the 2 Road Street Frames shape as well.
The finished product was a hit! Thanks Jill for the inspiration!
That is SO cute! Great idea…the boys will LOVE it I am sure!
