Some of you may know that when we were deciding on a baby name for boy #3, my husband and I had a terrible time. When we finally decided on a name we liked, a quick google search revealed that it was the name of a famous TV series character from the 70’s. So, there went that name.
Getting pretty close to the due date, my husband and I were looking out the window when our neighborhood fox walked by.
How about “Fox”? he asked.
And we agreed. Fox would be an appropriate, albeit quirky, addition to our son’s name.
Since then, we collect foxes for our little guy. Luckily for us, foxes are on trend right now, so they are EVERYWHERE.
I decided to use a wood slice to create a Christmas ornament for our little guy this year.
To make this ornament:
- Cut a branch into slices or buy precut slices.
- Use a wood stain marker to stain the wood if you’d like. I stained the edges of this ornament with a Minwax Walnut stain marker.
- Drill a hole in the wood to string a ribbon through (for hanging).
- Draw your design with Sharpies!
