As a crafty girl, there is pretty much nothing I love more than some crafty items to feed my habit. Here’s what is topping my creativity wish list this year!
1. Wooden Loom
I have been crushing on woven jewelry and am going crazy for a real wooden loom to weave my own wacky creations like this!
I have a tool like this to help me experiment, though I hear a piece of cardboard with notches will work, too!
2. Silhouette CAMEO 3
I have been working with a Silhouette 1 for many years, an although it still works fine, I love the idea of the Silhouette CAMEO 3! With a dual carriage, bluetooth, a wider clearance, and more, I am GEEKING OUT over it!
3. Fiber Fix Glues and Tapes
Recently Fiber Fix sent over a selection of their items for my review and I am obsessed. We often have difficult-to-fix problems arise around the house, and the Fiber Fix brand has some great options for any problem. This weekend, for example we are using the Repair Wrap to fix a broken wheelbarrow. The Flash Repair Pen is super glue in an awesome pen dispenser. It even comes with an accelerator to speed up drying. No more mess!
4. Arm Knitting Book
If you have been following along on the blog, you know that I have just learned to knit. Well now that I have that skill down, I want to take it big – the next size needle I will tackle is the ARM needle!
5. An Updated Camera
I have been using my beloved Canon Rebel T3i for years, but after a major drop a few weeks ago, and the local camera shop saying the external flash collection would never be the same, I am eyeing a few new cameras, but I am torn between a Canon Rebel T6i and a Samsung Mirrorless. Any advice?
6. Watercolor Pens
I recently went to a hand lettering workshop, and one of the suggested tools was a watercolor pen brush, to create intricate, colorful watercolor lettering. These are a super cheap stocking stuffer for a crafter interested in lettering and calligraphy.
What is topping your wish list as a crafter this year?
Great list! I want a heat press, cameo upgrade from a portrait and gift cards for HTV. I would also like a dedicated craft space so I can keep my sewing machine out and accessible
