So, I mentioned before that we ditched our dining room and made it into a family work space.
Ummm, best choice ever. That room has been use more in the last month than it was used in the last five years.
The neon, black, and red color palette is quirky and fun, based on this artwork that I shared that my oldest made at camp. The room is filled with DIY projects, including ones I will share in coming weeks, like:
This brass builder’s special chandelier that we turned into a funky focal point (saving me hundreds of dollars on a new fixture):
The gray and neon yellow curtains I made from some plain white ones I found at Target:
And the flesh-colored IKEA sofa I dyed to match the curtains (I need a better picture as the color is off here):
