We’re in the final stages of prep for my 3 year old’s Art Party this weekend. Little Guy is a huge fan of any kind of drawing, painting, or sculpting activity, so we thought we’d throw a bash that would allow him to do ALL of that on his special day.
I like to have a photo backdrop to capture pictures of the kids, but I could not decide whether to do a paint wall or a gallery wall…so I did what any crafty (and party obsessed) mom would do – I made both!
The gallery wall is various types of hand drawn frames. I was inspired by some wallpaper I saw online forever ago.
The paint splatter backdrop was easy to make, too. I just stood over some white easel paper and waved around some Americana paint from Deco Art. My husband MAY have run over this backdrop with the truck while it was in the garage drying, but it was nothing that some scissors and an eraser couldn’t fix!
I am always so impressed with your creativity. I wish I were a kid again so I could come to one of your parties!
I heard this party was wonderful, and it looks amazing! Definitely deserves the Schugar Stamp 🙂 (if I could give it… of course.)

These are so great!
You are so creative! I totally have to do this. I have a bunch of photo props from a party that my daughter loves to use and I always have her pose against a plain white wall. But this would be so easy to make interchangeable backgrounds.
