We gathered supplies:
1. Mod Podge
2. a page from a magazine
3. a foam brush
4. an Xacto knife
5. popsicle sticks (I used large, tongue depressor sized ones)
First, we painted Mod Podge onto popsicle sticks (Mommy used a foam brush, Buddy used a paint brush).
After painting one side of a stick, we laid it down on the back side of the magazine image. We repeated this process for each stick.
Once the Mod Podge dried (about 15 minutes), Mommy used an Xacto knife and cut around the outline of each stick.
Once the sticks were cut out, we painted the image side with Mod Podge, making sure to get the edges. One layer proved to be enough for this project.
Ten minutes later, the sticks were dry enough to rearrange into the correct image. He loved it!
