We are a Skylanders franchise super fan family. We credit the game for teaching my oldest to read, and we play card games with the collector cards.
The kids love the storylines and the silly characters, and I love that there is no graphic violence in the games. As of today, however, I have a new reason to respect Activision.
Skylanders has partnered with Autism Speaks to raise awareness with their “Light it up Blue” collaboration.
According to Autism Speaks, autism affects one in every 42 boys and one in 68 children in the U.S. To raise awareness for Autism, the new series of Skylanders Superchargers are blue and white to reflect Autism Speaks’ official colors.

…as well as Trigger Happy and Gold Rusher are bringing blue and white to the game.
