So earlier this week, I shared with you the superhero nesting dolls I designed for Little Guy. Now, if you have children close in age, you know you cannot give one a special gift without giving the other one something similar. So, since Buddy is into Star Wars, I created a set of Star Wars-inspired nesting dolls using blanks to give him for Christmas.
I’ll admit, these guys were trickier than the superheroes…and Yoda looks a little lost with his ears pinned to his head…but Buddy is 5…I think he’ll like them anyway!
I sealed each character with polyurethane after I was finished to protect their paint.
Who is your favorite Star Wars character? I have a soft spot for Yoda. My husband likes Darth. And I am pretty sure Buddy wore a Chewbacca sweatshirt every day last winter.
Those are super cute!
I LOVE these!

I know A LOT of “boys” who would love this!
By boys do you mean husbands – because I am pretty sure mine might steal these from his son.
Boys outgrow Star Wars? I should let my husband know.
Any ideas for girls??? Using the nesting dolls?
Hi Staci – I bet family, Frozen, pets, ballerinas, and Disney princesses would be big for girls…did you have some ideas? They were so fun to make!
