I have learned something in 8 years of marriage – my husband cares more about Father’s Day than the holidays. Problem is, we are often on the go for Father’s Day, making it difficult to plan for making that day unexpected and special. The holidays are easier for me to plan for. More time to think, more time to plan for surprises.
In our early years, my husband would easily guess his packages ( I was predictable, I guess), but my husband’s gifts last Christmas were a major win. I surprised him with a drone and a outdoor camera, and he has spent the last 10 months playing with them.
This year, I need to up my game. Since we did major renovations on our house this year, we do not have a lot of extra money to spend. So, this year’s husband gift ideas for the holidays includes items that are practical or frugal.
Since our provider required us to upgrade to a faster Internet service, our service has been slower. (Don’t ask, I don’t understand either). So, when Netgear offered its ambassadors (me!) an opportunity to try out the Nighthawk X4 (R7500), I jumped at the chance. Since I spend a lot of time on the computer for both work and blogging, I had been feeling the strain of my wireless limitations.
If your husband is a gamer or just loves surfing the the Internet, then this router will help boost your Internet, so that you have a better overall experience! We have our 2 computers on the 5 GHz and the rest of our many devices on the 2.4 GHz speeds so that the load on the router are spread out.
The four detachable antennas maximize the range of your WiFi, making this a smart gift for the whole family.
Framed Kids’ Art
As a parent I am staring to notice a real talent in my children. While I might be blinded by their near “perfect” DNA, I see some real artistic appear in their abstract preschool creations. My favorite piece of art remains as a fabric dyed by 4 year old Bud. The colors and textures are so rich and they have been hung in my house for the past year.
Fancy Family Photo
Recently Canvas Factory offered to send me a 16″x20″ photo print, so I jumped at the chance to memorialize a favorite family print that will be hung in our house for the next many years. Canvas Factory was super easy to order from, and within 2 weeks I had a beautifully mounted canvas to display in my home. Let’s be honest – I am not an expert photographer. However, Canvas Factory made me feel like one, as the canvas was colorful, focused, and resembled something I might pay much, much more from a professional photographer.
I loved my experience so much that I want to offer one of you the chance to win a 16″x 20″ canvas of your own. Don’t have time to wait? Prices at Canvas Factory are reasonably priced and make for an awesome, memorable gift!
This giveaway ends December 13th at midnight and is open to residents of the contiguous United States. Please see terms and conditions in the Rafflecopter below for all information related to this giveaway! Thank you Canvas Factory for the opportunity to win this awesome prize!
