This is a guest review written by Mr. Diapered Knights himself. He was sent complimentary samples of Houza Nuts to facilitate this review. All opinions contained in this post are his and have not been influenced in any way.

Our family likes nuts – at least for those of us whom legumes don’t pose as a choking hazard.  But in general, we like nuts. We like the peanut, the almond, the pecan, the cashew nut, macadamia nuts, walnuts, pistachios, chestnuts (both regular and the water variety). We like peanut butter, Nutella, peanut brittle, pecan rolls, Pecan Sandies, Almond Joys.  We like ‘em boiled, salted, and fried. We like nuts on salads, with our (homemade) tuna fish, for a snack and for dessert. In short, we like nuts.

Furthermore, the local news recently reported that eating nuts can lead to a lower risk of death, which validates our heavy nut consumption. Knowing our affinity for nuts, a family friend offered to send us some of his Houza Nuts to try.

Houza Nuts come in three delicious, homemade flavors: Hot Almonds, Sweet Pecans, and Chili Pecans.  It’s tough to say which ones were our favorite because they’re all so good.  The Sweet Pecans made for a nice topping on my French toast.  The Chili Pecans made for a good mid-morning snack when we needed a little pick-me-up, and the Hot Almonds gave us a little afternoon zing.   Each has their own merits and they’re not overpowering with sweetness or spiciness.

We also like the fact that Houza Nuts are made from all natural ingredients and that by buyingHouza Nuts, you are supporting local business and buying products that are made in America. So, if you are tired of giving out peppermint bark and you’re looking for a unique holiday gift for under $20, consider Houza Nuts.

The Sweet Pecans were my favorite…they had a bit of an outer crunch to them which I liked.

They were just hot enough…not grab a glass of water and drink like you have been stuck in the desert kind of hot.

They are not super spicy…more “curry” like – but definitely have a little kick!
