One of the things that consistently tops my list of most difficult parenting tasks is washing shampoo out of the kids’ hair. Even though I use tear-free shampoo, the boys still hate having their hair rinsed. They scream. They splash. They cry.
Sometimes I want to cry, too.
Nuby recently sent me their Shampoo Rinse Cup to see if that would help tame the boys tears during bath time. I had tried another brand of rinse cup before, but found the shape bulky and prone to mold growth. I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised with the Nuby brand rinse cup.
The cup is lightweight enough for my boys to use solo, and the shape of the cup and the flexible “lip” allows me to ensure I have a good seal between the cup and the boys’ foreheads before dumping water down their face by accident (Not that ever happened before with a different “cup”).
The corners of the cup are rounded, which make for easy cleaning. We even use the cup for easy storage for our Nuby 16 Piece Bath Tub Foam Animals when they are not in use. We really love this rinse cup and use it extensively. I’ve gifted a few for baby shower gifts as of late, as I really feel this cup is one of the items that would have made my life a lot easier when the boys were babies (and still does now, well into preschool).
The Nuby Shampoo Rinse cup can be found at Amazon, BuyBabyDirect.com, cookieskids.com, and Kmart for approximately $6.
