Next week we are hosting a Winter Wonderland Party (with some foxy details) and I wanted to share a sneak peek at the party favors. We thought that a personalized blanket would make a great favor, but quickly realized that blankets got expensive quickly and many of the fleece ones could not be personalized with heat transfer vinyl.

DIY Personalized Jersey Fleece Blankets

I bought 1 yard per blanket of Sweatshirt (Jersey) Fleece (using a 40% off coupon!). I then traced a fox drawing my mom had done in the Silhouette Studio software and added each child’s name. I cut the heat transfer vinyl (remembering to reverse the design) and then used my heat press to transfer the finished design onto the blankets. They are super soft and the perfect size for 1-8 year olds. Older kids and adults might like 2 yards to themselves.

I rolled them up to display at the party.

What do you think, will the kids love them?
