This month Pro World challenged me and 7 other bloggers to make a Halloween-inspired craft with items from a surprise box of supplies. I have decided that there is little more I love in life than a huge box of surprise craft supplies, because it forces me to think outside the box.
So, when Pro World sent a box filled with black glitter HTV (swoon), glow-in-the-dark HTV (double swoon), florescent orange HTV (gorgeous), florescent green HTV (heck, yes), silver permanent vinyl, and black permanent vinyl, I was inspired.
I am sharing one project here today, because they only asked for one – but as a true crafter does – I will be making lots of decorations for Halloween and sharing them here and on Instagram using the supplies from this box. Make sure to come back or follow on IG for more ideas!
If you have been following for a while, you know that I love traditional home decor with accessories that are cheeky or a little offbeat. And while the mantel will be the real showstopper this spooky season, I had some black and white buffalo plaid that NEEDED to make an appearance this year in the form of a cheeky pillow.
One of the things I love about this saying that that all of the adults get the reference, but the kids have no idea and are totally like, “Yeah, witch, I love candy. I will eat all the candy. Do not take my candy!” Can you tell we deprive our kids of candy the other 11 months of the year?
I made a simple pocket pillow from the fabric, then I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut the black Glitter HTV that Pro World sent to say WITCH BETTER HAVE MY CANDY.
Because she better.
