WOODLAND ANIMAL PEG DOLLS

My littlest smootch is turning one soon and we are having a woodland animals winter wonderland party to celebrate. Each special occasion in my boys’ lives I try to make them something handcrafted and meaningful just for them.

Bubba was named for a woodland creature, so it seemed only natural that his gift had a forest theme.

I bought a set of blank peg dolls and painted a collection of forest friends, perfect for little hands or a display.

Bubba now has a raccoon, deer, skunk, fox, bear, rabbit, and owl in his collection with cute little details down to their tails.

And I promise it was only a little creepy when they decided to have an impromptu woodland convention …
