With a family of boys, I am always searching for cute, easy, and not too mushy Valentine ideas. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite DIY ideas from around the web – all simple enough to do this week before the big day!

DIY Valentine Ideas for Families. Lots of crafts, cards, recipes, and decor in this post to celebrate Valentine's Day!

1. Washi Tape Vases

Head to your local craft store and grab some fun washi tape with cute Valentine designs so you can make these adorable vases from my friend, Hillary Chybinski.

2. Pirate Patches

A few years ago my boys and I made these pirate patches with paint, felt, and fabric. They would make a great alternative to Valentine’s Day cards for a class.
